- It has a great chelating ability for ions of Ca2+, Mg2+ and Fe3+. Its sequestrations ability is up to 150ppm/g (CaCO3) or even above, special over 400ppm/g forFe3+
- In the dyeing process, it can effectively prevent the dyes from Ca2+, Mg2+ and so on. So that dyeing effect and brilliance are not impacted. As a result, blemishes can be avoided
- Strong properties of sequestration for Ca2+ and Mg2+; promote leveling and fastness to light, used in procedure for reactive dyes; promote the color fastness and reducing the washing time for soaping process

Applications
1. Destarch Process
Dosage:
Batch process: 0.5-1g/l
Continuous process: 1-3g/l
It has chelate effect for heavy metal ion which impede amylase activity, besides, it get a emulsification & dispersion for sizing agent such as poly(vinyl alcohol), acrylic acid. So it can prevent happened like sizing material insolubility and re-adsorption thus make a sizing effect better than better.
2. Alkali reduce Process
Dosage:
Batch process: 0.5-1g/l
Continuous process: 1-3g/l
It is easy to removing the "sodinm Tere-Phthalate" oligomer which cause of the PET process. So it can reduce scale deposit of M/C to the lowest extent.
3. Mercerization Process
Dosage:
ECG300: 0.5-1g/l
It is suited for mercerization process, chelateing metal ion from cotton fiber, increases the luster; tensile strength; tearing strength.
4. Washing Process after alkali reduce, mercerization
Dosage:
Batch process: 0.5-1g/l
Continuous process: 1-3g/l
It can prevent impurities re-sticking such as oligomer, pectin, wax and others impurity.
5. Refining Process

6. Bleaching Process by H2O2

7. Dyeing Process

Most dyestuffs are including metal ion. That will got a effect to solubility and disperse and make dyeing un-Levelling. ECG300 get an excellent disperse for pigment dyestuff; fluorescent dyestuff. So it used in printing process that can increase printing effect. Also it has a effect that can protect colloid and strengthen dyestuff disperse.
8. Printing Process
Dosage: 1-2g/l (used with detergent in printing process)
It is a good effect to prevent Ca2+ Mg2+ and Calcium alginate deposit. So it can achieve streak effect, if ECG300 used for reactive dye printing, it can prevent printing sizing material bleeding. For Destarch, it can take effect such as emulsification, dissolution. And make the thickener easy to removing.
9. Washing Process
Dosage:
Batch process: 0.5-1g/l
Continuous process: 1-2g/l
It used for dyeing of cellulose finishing process, printing finishing process. It can increase fabric color fastness.
